Within its Real Estate business, Ireka takes pride in the creation of the i-ZEN brand of luxury properties. The essence of i-ZEN is embodied in the 6S Principles of Style, Service, Security, Sophistication, Soul, and Sustainability and they are demonstrated in all i-ZEN properties. With the brand promise to style life, i-ZEN continuously generates new designs to influence how people live.

Ireka began acquiring landbank in Mont' Kiara since the 1990s, which enabled the Group to undertake property development activities throughout the decade and beyond. Ireka’s direct property development venture includes:




  • Residential: courtyard homes i-ZEN@Villa Aseana (Mont’ Kiara, Kuala Lumpur), serviced residences i-ZEN@Kiara II (Mont’ Kiara, Kuala Lumpur), luxury condominiums Kiaraville (Mont’ Kiara, Kuala Lumpur);
  • Gated and Guarded Township: Luyang Perdana (Kota Kinabalu, Sabah)
  • Hotel: The Westin Kuala Lumpur (sold in 2007 for a record price of about RM1 million per room)

In 2007, Ireka successfully pioneered the listing of Aseana Properties Limited ('Aseana') on the London Stock Exchange, to undertake property development activities in Malaysia and Vietnam. Under the stewardship of Ireka, The Westin Kuala Lumpur has won many highly coveted awards such as FIABCI Malaysia Property Awards 2005 (Hotel Development category), Prix d’Excellence Award 2006 (Best Hotel & Resort category) and Hospitality Asia Platinum Awards 2005 – 2006 (The Award for Excellence – Best New Hotel). Aside from that, Sandakan Harbour Square clinched the Asia Pacific Property Awards 2009 (Commercial Redevelopment category); while SENI Mont’ Kiara bagged the same award in 2012 in the Residential High-Rise Development category.
