Lumpur - Real estate developer, Ireka Land Sdn
Bhd plans to expand its operations abroad to build
commercial and high end residential units.
Its
Chief Executive Officer Lai Voon Hon says, the company
has identified suitable sites in China, India and
Vietnam.
Lai says the company will develop the properties in
the three countries through strategic ties ups with
local companies.
Lai was speaking at the launch of its latest housing
project, Tiffani I Zen in Kuala Lumpur.
The project comprises of 399 freehold exclusive
residential units.
50 percent of the units have already been sold and
the rest are expected to be taken up by the time the
project is completed in mid 2009.
More than half of the buyers are foreigners from Hong
Kong, Singapore, West Asia, Taiwan and
China.
